Change of heart (kind of)

as many of you know, i do not really like cold weather and especially don't like snow. i'm a texas girl at heart and i just like being warm and not having to bundle yourself up to be warm. so when i heard that it was going to snow (for the second time this week) last night, my first thoughts were "ugh. what a pain" and i went to bed. i woke up this morning at 5 am just like always to go to the gym. the minute i stepped outside, i understood why people talk about how beautiful the snow can be. snow covered all the trees, all the cars, everything was white. as i walked down the middle of the empty, quiet street to the gym i felt like i was in a movie. it was seriously one of the most gorgeous things i've ever seen. and to say that about snow is saying a lot coming from me! after my workout (because let's face, very few things will keep me from the gym!) i ran upstairs and grabbed my camera so i could try to capture a few pictures before it melted.
the tree in front of my apartment
front of my building
the apartment across the street that i secretly want to live in because it looks like alice in wonderland-especially in this picture

the street i walk down to go to the gym
i literally walked down the middle of the street

pretty little gate
the church across the street from me

snow tree!
even though the snow is absolutely beautiful, i am still ready for it to be done. today, it's in the middle of melting but tonight the temperature will drop and it will freeze. it will repeat this cycle tomorrow and then friday it will snow again. stupid groundhog seeing his shadow.....

Your pictures are Gorgeous! It reminds me of snows that I experienced in my childhood. A snow like that can feel almost "holy." Another beautiful snow experience is if it snows at night and you go out and walk in it.
