Work it out

So I went to the gym today and I saw something that seems to be growing in popularity.

Now, I get that it's the most wonderful invention of our time. I mean, a phone, a computer, an iPod and a camera all in one? AND, you can add all kinds of cool things to help make your life easier and cooler? Sounds great, sign me up. The thing I'm a bit perplexed about is the size of this thing for working out. Seriously, check it out. Doesn't look too bad on this guy here, but I've been peeping these tiny little girls who are reading US Weekly on the treadmill and they've got what looks like a huge black/silver box attached to their arm. It's kind of weird. Especially when you run. It's just all I can look at as it flies up and down and up and down and updownupdownupdown!!!!! I have to wonder if it's really that comfortable but it looks totally cumbersome. Especially since I have this thing:

It's tiny and clips on my shirt and I barely even know I have it on except that it's pumping incredibly awesome music in my ear. And, I really have a problem with people feeling like they need their phone with them at the gym. Honestly, are you running or talking about how wasted you got last night? Because I don't want to hear about that and if you're able to talk about it, you should probably be running faster.

Sigh....

I'm so exhausted this week. I have no idea what the deal is, but I'm quite concerned seeing as I'll be in Vegas on Friday. This does not sound like it will work out well.

On another note, I was just at HEB. Apparently, people celebrate today by purchasing groceries. And attempting to barter for their food. Just for everyone's knowledge, you CANNOT pay for your groceries with your cheap watch and a Quizno's coupon. In case that's what you were planning to do.

Awes-tin!!!

Hey! It's been a while. Not that anyone reads this, but here are some pics I've taken lately. Sometimes I just walk around downtown. Now, I am going to my first class soon, so these are still just all me, no help and should be getting better with time. I love how they put all the old names on all the numbered streets downtown! I wish I knew all the old names, but alas, all I know is Pecan.

My next project is find all these guitars and take their pictures and make myself a collage.

There is a GUY UP THERE!!! See him? He's on the left, right over the word "Holbrook" and I have no clue what he was doing there.
Job update: Got a phone interview Friday. We'll see.
