When Eric Came To Town

Eric came to visit us this weekend! We had a blast. He got in Thursday night and we sat around that night and had a few drinks and caught up. Friday, Eric and I went to brunch and then headed out to Pier 39. Eric had gotten us tickets for this boat trip to see the Golden Gate bridge so we went to pick those up first and decided to walk around before we went on the boat. I am seriously in LOVE with the sea lions on the pier, so I took Eric to see them. Seriously, if you haven't been, go. It's a cheap, entertaining way to spend a good 30 minutes.

Then we walked around the pier and checked out the shops, sites and tourists!

The 2 story carousel is what I really want to ride. It looks like so much fun!!

Then we got on our boat. It was a big 3 story boat and the top was open with seating. I hauled ass to top (of course) so that we could get a seat. Eric and I sat on a bench with 2 other people. Most benches had 5-6 people, but since I hate sitting too close to people and Eric likes to be a jerk, we decided that we were just going to sprawl out and take up too much room so no one else could sit with us. Ha.

The boat went by Alcatraz. Second time in one week, suckas!!!

When we were done, we wanted to go shopping some before meeting up with LP, so we tried to take the trolley. It didn't work. Boo. Too full.
So Eric thought we should take a pedicab!!! Great idea. It was a beautiful day and riding while someone else pedaled was perfect for me to enjoy the sun and the breeze!

Eric didn't know that he was the subject for my next practice photos. I was trying to figure out how to focus on different subjects in a frame. In the first pic, Eric was my focus and the bus sign was my focus in the second one.

Now, I think I was telling you all about Ike's before. This place is the most amazing sandwich shop I've ever been to ever in the world. Not only that, but the owner is awesome (and he may like Eric!!), the atmosphere is cozy and the employees are super nice. Check out their menu and if you visit San Francisco, get your butt over there and eat a super tasty sammy!!!
