Firsts

weebay had a lot of firsts this week. typically, when we get home from work, we let him out and he runs around like a crazy monster (we call "monster mode"), biting his toys, running back and forth, jumping around- basically like a kid on the last day of school. but wednesday i got home and let him out and he was lethargic and laid around. an hour later, he booted (aka barfed but i hate that word) all over the couch. ew, gross. i cleaned it up and made him sit on the floor with me. an hour later, same thing. poor little guy was sick!!!!!

thursday he woke up (at 345) back to normal!! hooray weebay!!! thank goodness because i was very sad when he was feeling sick. thursday night, my friend monica came over to visit him for the first time and boy was he pumped to see her!!!

he wore himself out playing. yes, he sometimes sleeps with both paws up and his eyes rolled back in head- zombie puppy!!!!

today was more firsts. i took him to the vet here in dc to get a checkup and schedule his second round of vaccinations. i decided to carry him because it's a bit of a walk and he's just not big enough to go that far by himself. so i got out a duffel bag to put him in and:
he loved it. the entire vet office fell in love with him. he was so good and let everyone pet and hold him and just loved on all of them. the vet tech even took him in the back to show everyone how adorable he is. way to go weebay!!!!

we got home and went on our first walk outside. which he loved. i can see he will be a great walker, which i'm so excited about as this winter is so mild. then, we had his first bath. yikes. not so great. he FREAKED in the tub and was trying to jump out. unfortunately, he is not a good climber so this amounted to him squeaking and clawing the tub and turning into the saddest whimper ever. i've never hurried through a bath so fast!!!
